Early Life and Background

Brie Bella, born Brianna Monique Garcia-Colace on November 21, 1983, in San Diego, California, is an American professional wrestler, television personality, and entrepreneur. Raised alongside her twin sister, Nikki Bella (Stephanie Nicole Garcia-Colace), on a farm in Scottsdale, Arizona, Brie developed a strong work ethic from an early age. The sisters are of Mexican and Italian descent and were actively involved in sports, particularly soccer, during their youth. Brie graduated from Chaparral High School in 2002 and briefly attended Grossmont College before pursuing a career in modeling and acting. ​

Wrestling Career

Brie Bella began her professional wrestling career in 2007 when she signed with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and was assigned to Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) for training. She made her main roster debut on SmackDown in August 2008, initially using a "twin magic" gimmick with her sister Nikki, where they would switch places during matches to gain an advantage. Brie achieved significant success in WWE, capturing the WWE Divas Championship on April 11, 2011, by defeating Eve Torres. She held the title for 70 days before losing it to Kelly Kelly. 

Throughout her wrestling career, Brie was known for her resilience and in-ring prowess. She was ranked No. 16 in Pro Wrestling Illustrated's Female 50 in 2014 and No. 11 in 2015. Brie officially retired from in-ring competition in April 2016 to focus on her family and other ventures but made sporadic appearances thereafter.

Beyond wrestling, Brie Bella has established herself as a prominent media personality and entrepreneur. She starred alongside her sister in the reality TV series "Total Divas" (2013–2019) and its spin-off "Total Bellas" (2016–2021), which provided an inside look into their personal and professional lives. Brie Bella married fellow professional wrestler Bryan Danielson (known in WWE as Daniel Bryan) on April 11, 2014. The couple has two children: daughter Birdie Joe Danielson, born on May 9, 2017, and son Buddy Dessert Danielson, born on August 1, 2020. In October 2020, the family relocated to Napa Valley, California, seeking a more tranquil lifestyle. ​

Brie and Nikki co-authored the memoir "Incomparable," released in 2020, which delves into their personal struggles and triumphs, aiming to inspire others through their journey. ​
